  • Dr.
    Anna Simmons
    OUR VETERINARIANS

She dreamed of being a vet since a very young age and feels so blessed to have been able to accomplish that dream. Dr. Anna attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she received a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Biology. She spent those college years working at various vet clinics and in animal rescue. She then spent two years working as a vet tech at a clinic in East Dallas. After gaining priceless experience as a tech, Dr. Anna attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies, followed by a year of clinics at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. Once she experienced a Wisconsin winter, she returned to Texas and spent her time enjoying practicing medicine at a small animal clinic in East Dallas before joining the amazing Premier Vet Care team. Dr. Anna is married to her college sweetheart and together they have five pet kids, including four dogs (Tyli, Ivy, Nala, Coco) and one cat who thinks he is a dog (Pepper Saltzman). She and her husband live in Dallas and love to spend time cooking, hiking, playing volleyball, painting, biking, snuggling their animals, traveling, and reading, among other things. Dr. Jacqueline then earned her degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, making her a proud double Gator.
